Safety -  Tanjung Aru Beach which meet safety features such as the control of the police posts along the Tanjung Aru makes visitors feel safety.

LOCATION OF TANJUNG ARU BEACH

Location ; Located in Tanjung Aru, Tanjung Aru Beach is located at the end of Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman and is approximately 6 kilometres from Kota Kinabalu city. It is the Tanjung Aru Beach which has a special place in the heart of every local. When you visit the beach, you will find out why is has gained such reputation from the locals.

How to get there ; Tanjung Aru is located only four miles south of Kota Kinabalu the ride takes less than 15 minutes by taxi or 20 minutes by bus. Public buses and minibuses to Tanjung Aru leave regularly from City Hall and Wawasan Plaza in the southern part of Kota Kinabalu. Most buses are signed "Tanjung Aru Beach" and turn around in the parking lot of the food court - the last stop - before heading back to the city. Let your driver know if you want to get off at the backpacker's hostel or at a hotel prior to the beach. The one-way fare is typically around 50 cents. You can avoid crowded public transportation by flagging a southbound taxi to Tanjung Aru Beach for around $5. Ensure that your driver uses the meter before getting inside.

THE SECOND TRIP AT TANJUNG ARU BEACH

The Tanjung Aru Beach has transformed quite a bit from being hawker stalls to restaurants and beachside cafes. The beach is divided into three sections, beach 1, beach 2 and beach 3. There are plenty of places to eat at Tanjung Aru Beach. Food stalls here serve food and drinks till late at night. You may opt to choose from enjoying a simple meal of coconut and sugarcane juice with chicken or beef satay or you can also opt for a full-course dinner at the seafood restaurant found here.
There are several activities which you can do here at the Tanjung Aru Beach. You can either take a jog or stroll along the long stretch of sandy beach in the morning or in the evening. There is also a park here which is called the Tanjung Aru Beach Park. It was formerly known as the Prince Philip Park. This is a great place to bring your family for quality family time. You can come here in the afternoon and spend time here till after dinner. There are many other places of interest in Sabah. You may opt to go for a day of Sabah sightseeing or sightseeing in the city of Kota Kinabalu. There are many interesting places such as the Filipino Market which you should visit to buy snacks and sea produce. There are some Shopping malls which you can visit here in Kota Kinabalu.

   However, what attract tourists to keep coming to Kota Kinabalu is the Kinabalu Park and the pristine beaches and islands of Sabah. The Kinabalu Park is the home of the famous Mount Kinabalu. It is at the Kinabalu Park where you will have the opportunity to view thousands of species of plants as well as animals. This certainly is an activity for those who love nature and for those to loves adventures and sports. At Kinabalu Park too, you can opt for jungle trekking as well. Islands in Sabah such as the Sipadan Island and Mabul Island and several more are famous diving destinations. The picturesque view and the diversity of the marine life here keep these coming back again for more. Hotels in Kota Kinabalu are plentiful but they do get fully booked during the peak season. Do book in advance to avoid disappointment.

The area ample parking space at the entrance to the Tip. You only need to walk 3 minutes to overlooks the Tip of Borneo.You will see the flag pole and globe monument near the end.Tourist like to take photos here.

Borneo is the 3rd largest island in the world,and its northern- Most tip is the meeting point of 2 big oceans,s South China sea and Sulu sea.  tip of Borneo is located  in  Kudat district and one of the most popular attractions in Sabah. Tip of  Borneo is also known as Tanjung Simpang Mengayau, which mean the junction to the battle at the tip ( In Rungus language).

Good morning first of all introduce our group member my name Mohd Azmie Bin Jamaan (KK1190377), Fizaidly Fiziano Fikri Bin Manjulah (SB1206DD0946) and Amanda Nevia Vung (KK1080028) ..today we all happy because now we all on the way going to Tanjung Simpang Mengayau at Kudat..hehehheh  our group moving to Tanjung Simpang Mengayau Kudat at 04/04/2014 10.00am and we all arrive 1.00pm. trip there takes about 2 ½ hours. in our trip to Tanjung Simpang Mengayau its very interesting and so many experience our group get.  I hope if you get the chance to go to Tanjung Simpang Mengayau you will have a wonderful experience. let's go to Tanjung Simpang Mengayau you will not lose ..hehehe :-)
